Matt Van Horn bed0557b65 feat(quality): GOAT synthesis improvements - hybrid cross-source linking, YouTube synonyms, human-readable xref tags 
Ran 15-way blinded comparison (5 topics x 3 versions). CROSS won all 5 topics
(4.74/5.0 avg vs HN 4.10, Base 3.73). Then improved CROSS further:

- dedupe.py: hybrid similarity (token+trigram Jaccard) at 0.40 threshold,
  cross-source links went from 3 to 13 items across 5 topics
- render.py: [xref: HN5, HN4] -> [also on: HN, Reddit] for human-readable tags
- youtube_yt.py: SYNONYMS dict so "hip hop" matches "rap" (0.33 -> 0.71 score)
- SKILL.md: instruction #7 tells Claude to lead with cross-platform signals

Validation: improved CROSS scores 4.38/5.0 vs original 3.98 (+0.40), wins 4/5
topics. Biggest gains in specificity (+0.8) and format compliance (+1.0).

And well, I mean, it's been a week, and that basically equals about 3 months in AI time. So, yes, we've already got a new challenger to the throne. Bite Dance is striking back hard with Seance 2.0. And although Seance 2.0 is not released as of this video. I do have some exclusive info, full walkthrough of all of the features, a likely release frame, and a bunch of examples for us to check out today. [music] With that, get your dancing shoes on. It is time to tango. Briefly, just to bring us up to speed, seed is Bite Dance's frontier lab. Uh much like Google's deep mind, it focuses on a number of AI projects including LLMs, real time and of course image and video which is you know the thing that we'll be looking at here today. Image and video are split into two different products with seed. There is seed dream for images and seed dance for video and I I constantly get the two of them screwed up. Now the previous version of seed dance which was 1.5 was released uh about 2 months ago and introduced native audio. So with this 2.0 release, bite dance seems to be pacing almost foot forfoot with cling who I mean obviously released their 2.6 model around the same time and of course have just released their 3.0 model and just like cling 3.0 it is clear that bite dance has been cooking because well I mean c dance 2.0 looks pretty jaw-dropping. So I reached out to my contact at bite dance to get some internal documents to see exactly what 2.0 0 is capable of, what its feature set is, and well, I mean, buckle up because this one is packed. So, at baseline, Cance 2.0 is multimodal and does have an omni model and supports four types of inputs: image, video, audio, and text. And well, of course, as they say, uh, with richer expression, and more controllable generation. I mean, they every every one of them always says that. In this case, it's actually kind of true. And here's the kind of crazy part. It can support up to nine images and three videos per input reference. So for a total of like 12 input references. Additionally, as mentioned, it does support audio input at a range of 3 seconds up to 15 seconds and outputs at a selectable range of 4 seconds up to 15 seconds and does do so with native audio. Then click the extensions icon in the top right toolbar. Select your VPN app and choose Hong Kong from the country list. Step two, access Cance 2.0 for free. Once you're connected to a Hong Kong IP address, open your browser and go to dubau.com. Since the site is originally in Chinese, right-click anywhere on the page and select translate to English or use your browser's built-in translation feature. That's it. You can now start using the AI to generate videos with Seedance 2.0 for free. Each browser profile usually receives 10 free credits, and one video generation requires two credits. If you reach the limit, you can try using another browser profile or a different browser such as Brave, Edge, Opera, or Firefox. The quality and motion are absolutely on point. Now, imagine how awesome clips you'll be able to create with this. Next up is multi-input control.
